Nelson Named ECD at Carmichael Lynch

Nelson: CL's new ECD.
Group creative director Jim Nelson has been promoted to executive creative director at Carmichael Lynch, executives at the Minneapolis agency announced today. Nelson will oversee the five remaining group CDs and answer directly to agency chairman and chief creative officer Jack Supple.

Nelson joined the agency in 1991 and was promoted to GCD in 1997. His credits include work for Coca-Cola and Northwest Airlines, although he is most closely associated with award-winning campaigns for Harley-Davidson. Last year, Nelson's Harley work won the $100,000 Grand Kelly award, presented each year by the Magazine Publishers of America.
