Colette stars in, and scores, this spot for Motorola.
Motorola and Ogilvy/Los Angeles have drafted three prominent club DJs for a new advertising campaign promoting the C350 handset. Felix da Housecat, Paul van Dyk and DJ Colette all created original tracks that can be downloaded as ringtones from www.hellomoto.com, and each appears in a commercial alongside their contribution. In all the spots, the music coming from the new C350 shakes up the neighborhood until the spots' stars answer the phone and hear the familiar tag: "Hello Moto." The spots were directed by Academy Films' Nick Gordon and overseen by creative directors Phillip Squier and Simon Mainwaring, who arrived at Ogilvy's west coast outpost late last year from Fallon/New York and Wieden + Kennedy/Portland, respectively.
