Hungry Man co-founder and executive producer Steve Orent has left the company to launch a new production venture.

Orent launched Hungry Man ten years ago with directors Bryan Buckley and Hank Perlman and has worked as a producer with Buckley for over sixteen years.

"It's been an incredible ten years with two amazing partners," says Orent. "I felt like I needed to do it on my own." Orent says he'll start the new company before the end of the year and will announce details in the coming weeks.

"It was an amazing run and a whole lot of fun," said Hungry Man co-founding directors Hank Perlman and Bryan Buckley in a press statement. "He's made a lifestyle move to spend more time with his family and move onto other ventures. The company also adamantly denies any rumors that Steve will be taking Yankee skipper Joe Torres' managing vacancy!"

Longtime Hungry Man executive producer Kevin Byrne hsa been promoted to head operations of the company's New York headquarters, while London managing director Matt Buels will take on an expanded role overseeing Hungry Man's directors internationally.
