Pinnacle Serves Up Soft

Golf spots, like many a sporting spot, usually utilize the image of a professional athlete to extol the virtues of a product. Whether it's Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson or John Daly, we're used to seeing the pros touting the next big thing to hit the links. Here, Arnold, Boston take a ... uh, softer approach to launch Pinnacle's campaign for its new golf balls, the Platinum Feel and the Platinum Distance. The Pinnacle Soft-Serve truck, a pseudo ice cream truck operated by three creepy-yet-comedic salesmen, cruises the golf course to show everyday duffers how to increase their distance without giving up feel around the greens. Of course, that might make about as much sense to you as madras pants and getting up at 5 a.m. for a four-hour stroll with a white dimpled ball, but—"Like a pocket full of pudding"—you don't need a handicap to appreciate Pinnacle's sense of humor.
