Kamble will join BBH in May and will work alongside managing partners Subhash Kamath, Partha Sinha and recently-appointed Paul Ward. BBH began its search for a new CCO role following the departure of Priti Nair at the end of 2010.
Kamble's current role at BBDO WorldWide, New York is as senior vice president on its global P&G and Gillette business. He has worked in Mumbai, London and New York and has picked up awards including Clios, Cannes, D&AD and One Show during his career. Prior to joining BBDO, he was at Lowe Worldwide for 11 years.
Founded two years ago, BBH Mumbai's client base includes local and international clients such as the World Gold Council, Lakme Salon, Surf, Vaseline, Marico, rediff.com and Diageo.
