Randy Cohen, a dedicated producer and ten-year veteran of kirshenbaum bond + partners, died of cancer last Friday.

"We are all so saddened by the loss of Randy Cohen," agency co-founder Richard Kirshenbaum says. "Having worked with him over the last 20 years, I can say with absolute certainty he was one of the finest people and producers I have known. We will all miss him dearly."

Mr. Cohen, 49, was vice president and director of broadcast at kbp and has contributed to accounts like Wendy's, Jergens, Panasonic and Liberty Mutual. After seven-year tenure at Deutsch, Mr. Cohen was a freelance producer for agencies including Wieden & Kennedy and Publicis. He graduated from Baruch College and is survived by a daughter, former wife and sister.

In memory of Mr. Cohen's supportive spirit, kbp has established the Randy Cohen Production Internship. The summer program, starting this June, is intended to provide young people pursuing careers in broadcast and production exposure to mentors.
