By Published on .

Celebrated science fiction novelist and short story writer Ray Bradbury passed away last night at the age of 91, "after a lengthy illness," his publisher HarperCollins said in a statement. Mr. Bradbury penned more than 600 books and stories--among them, iconic works like Farenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles, and The Illustrated Man. In the process, he inspired countless authors, directors and creatives across the board to imagine and dream wildly.
