RPA Brings Honda's Ideas to Life

Published on .

Honda "Wall"
In a new campaign for Honda, Rubin Postaer & Associates walks us through the Odyssey minivan from an engineer's eye view. We see the car from the inside, its components rendered as flowing, hand-drawn sketches.

The effect was accomplished through a collaboration between Cucoloris director Richard Kizu-Blair and New York animation house Psyop, which integrated draftsman-like animations with the live-action footage. The mix is meant to dramatize the thought and work Honda's engineers put into the design of the car, which -- as the voiceover says -- is billed as a "great idea made better."
