Sid Lee launches beauty products business venture

Published on .

At New York's Henri Bendel flagship on Fifth Avenue, another ad shop launched a product creation venture yesterday. Montreal-based agency Sid Lee launched Functionalab, a 100-product health and beauty line and retail space that lives as a shop within a shop at the high-end women's retailer.

Sid Lee partnered with Functionalab cofounders Erick Geoffrion and Francis Maheu in the venture. The agency has equity in the company and leveraged its in-house architects, designers and ad folks to launch the products and retail space (check out photos below).

In late April, New York-based Anomaly launched a makeup line business venture with YouTube cosmetics personality Lauren Luke.
