Sources: HKM Set to Absorb Ritts/Hayden, Rock Fight

Published on .

Sources familiar with the negotiations say a long-rumored deal that will see production company HKM absorb production houses Ritts/Hayden and Rock Fight is at hand, although details of the arrangement were not available at press time. HKM founding partner Graham Henman declined to comment this afternoon, saying only that his company could make an announcement as early as Friday.

The companies' combined rosters currently include U.S. representation agreements with almost 40 directors, including Maggie Zackheim and Christian Loubek at HKM, Peluca and Pep Bosch at Rock Fight, Mike Mills and Roman Coppola at current HKM satellite The Directors Bureau, and Herb Ritts and Simon West at Ritts/Hayden. Additionally, each company currently has a representation deal with a different London-based production house. HKM is linked with Independent (formerly Propaganda/U.K.), Rock Fight with Rose Hackney Barber and Ritts-Hayden represents Spectre Films directors Daniel Kleinman and Enda McCallion in the U.S.
