Stephen Dickstein, formerly of The Sweet Shop, Partizan and Propaganda Films, is starting his own production company venture, Alive & Well. Dickstein (pictured, above) has taken on executive producer Phillip Detchmendy (pictured, below), who has led production at Paranoid, Tool of North America and Satellite among others, as a partner.

Alive & Well's directorial line-up will include Eric Hillenbrand, Woods, Phil Abraham, Henry Hobson, Aaron Salgado, Alex Feil and Robin Hays. Alive & Well is also forming a digital division, Kicking & Screaming, led by Natalie Loos, a long-time associate of Dickstein's. Loos will focus on sales of the digital operation, as well as the wider group's marketing and communications.

In his previous roles, Dickstein has worked on commercials with directors including David Fincher, Michael Bay, Mark Romanek, Dante Ariola, Malcolm Venville, Spike Jonze, Mark Romanek, Traktor, Steve Ayson, Mr. Hide and Ben Quinn. Detchmendy meanwhile has worked with Francois Vogel, the Vikings, Olivier Gondry, Brian Beletic, and Eric Joiner, among others, and has executive produced work awarded by Cannes, the Clio Awards and AICP.

"Alive & Well has quickly become a dream come true, as we have not only attracted as talented a group of directors as I've ever helped assemble, but a brilliant management team, all of whom I have long established working relationships with," said Dickstein in a statement.
