Sundance Takes on Summer Blockbusters

The Sundance Channel positions itself as the alternative to summer blockbusters in a new in-house spot that takes the form of an over-cooked title sequence. "A Film By Some Over Paid Hack," the credits announce triumphantly. "Written By Someone Who'll Deny It."

The spot, which will be accompanied by print executions, pledges that Sundance will deliver "everything you won't find at the multiplex this summer."
