Beer gets the 3D treatment thanks to the handiwork of Dutch agency Achtung, which has created a "Bavaria Biertour" for brew enthusiasts. The splendidly animated site takes visitors to the Bavaria plant for an inside look at the brewing process. The Biertour offers a nice mix of graphics and real video as we travel from the brewhouse to the bottling plant (along with several detours to the Brewery Cafe). Call it experiential if you must, but we're just that much anxious for happy hour to start.
Having now provided the watershed moment for online video, YouTube has inspired a multitude of upstarts to enter the fray. The latest in the long line of those capitalizing on the UGC movement is Filtr.tv, which broadcasts a weekly playlist of approximately 25 minutes of content including short films, music videos and animations. The staff, comprised of creative professionals, handpicks the content for this artist-friendly station...so no hacks allowed.
