TBWA/Chiat/Day Brings PS2 Game to Life

PS2: Do not attempt.
According to a breaking campaign from TBWA/Chiat/Day/Los Angeles, the Play Station 2 game "Ratchet and Clank" includes "36 weapons and gadgets not fit for this world." The spots, directed by Biscuit Filmworks' Noam Murro, demonstrate as much by bringing a few of those weapons into the world with Jackass-style home video of kids goofing around. In three clips, they turn one of their friends into a chicken with the game's "morphoray"; accidentally incinerate a tree with the Devastator; and terrify a friend's mother, and cause a car crash, with an inflatable decoy.

The kids' reactions in these completely naturalistic spots are about what you'd expect from real kids. A few laugh hysterically, others run before the police arrive.
