TBWA/Chiat/Day Pushes Sony's PSP

Published on .

PSP "PSPOV"
As Sony gets ready to release the long-awaited PlayStation Portable, or PSP, in the U.S. tomorrow, TBWA/Chiat/Day/L.A. rolls out a pair of commercials for the handheld, ensuring that it will be even harder to get your hands on one. In one new spot, directed by @radical.media video maestro Dave Meyers, we rarely see the PSP. Instead, we see how players look to it through a game's eye view montage cut to the Franz Ferdinand track "Take Me Out." A second spot shows off special effects by Digital Domain as a gamer morphs into all of his in-game alter egos.
