TBWA Taps Hunt as Worldwide CD

Published on .

TBWA Worldwide announced today that John Hunt, formerly chairman and executive creative director at TBWAHunt Lascaris, South Africa, has been named to the network post of worldwide creative director. Meanwhile, Reg Lascaris, currently president of TBWA in Africa/Middle East/Greece/Turkey, has been given an expanded role in developing the network's global strategy.

Hunt, 48, will move to New York to assume his new duties, which take effect April 1. As worldwide creative director, he assumes a title that has been used by TBWA chairman Lee Clow, but -- an agency spokesperson explains -- Clow will revert to his formal title of chairman and chief creative officer of TBWA Worldwide in light of Hunt's appointment.
