Kuntz bested fellow MJZ director Craig Gillespie, Anonymous' Garth Davis, Park Pictures' Joaquin Baca-Asay and Chris Palmer of Gorgeous Enterprises.

The director earned the title based on his direction on Cadbury's "Eyebrows," out of Fallon, London, W+K, Portland spots "Tips" for Career Builder and "Scents for Gents," for Old Spice and Skittles' "Tailor," via TBWA/Chiat/Day, New York.
