Merkley Newman Harty art director Craig Cimmino is facing criminal charges for attempting to throw away old creative work. As the Associated Press reports, Cimmino was arrested at his Brooklyn apartment on Tuesday after his super discovered a fake bomb in the trash -- a prop Cimmino had made in college to solicit work from ad agencies whose work was "bombing." After police evacuated the building, they discovered the bomb was fake. Cimmino, who faces charges of placing a false bomb in the second degree, declined to comment on the advice of counsel.
