Tropicana is ringing in its Golden Anniversary with a new heritage campaign from Chicago agency Element 79. In two spots, directed by Headquarters' Lloyd Stein, the effort cheekily runs through the history of the company's orange juice -- from its role as a parade float theme to a game show prize -- all to the tune of the Jackie Wilson song "Reet Petite." The footage is all convincingly vintage, thanks in part to director of photography Ed Lachman, who was nominated for an Oscar earlier this year for his work on Todd Haynes' '50s period piece Far From Heaven.
