Universal Orlando takes a rather hard line on vacations in a new series of spots from L.A. agency David & Goliath and HSI director Kevin Samuels. The initial spot, which broke late last year, featured a corporate CEO thanking the public for working themselves too hard and not taking vacations. In the sequel, which broke Monday, we get a similar message from a pharmaceutical executive, who -- as the spot would have it -- makes his living off vacation-free despair. "Stay the course," he says. "As long as you're committed to all work and no play, we'll provide happiness in the form of a pill." A third spot, set to debut next week, features a similar message from an undertaker.
