Published on .

The crew at music and post house Fluid held a drawing Monday to select the lucky ten bands that will take the stage next month for The Battle of the Ad-Bands, an event co-sponsored by Creativity. As noted here, the primary ground rule for the battle is that each band must have at least one member who is an agency employee. Here are the bands that made the lineup, in no particular order, along with their agency affiliations:

Poster Child (Merkley Newman Harty)
Semolina Pilchard (Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners)
Cannibelle (Arnold Worldwide/Boston)
The Ridiculed (Cline, Davis & Mann)
Bon Apetit (Wunderman)
Crankdaddy (MRA Group, Syracuse, N.Y.)
The Producers (DDB/New York)
Jack Daniels & the Beanstalk (McCann-Erickson/New York)
Macho Grande (FCB/New York)
Ironic Trucker Hat (Crispin Porter + Bogusky/Miami)

The Battle happens Sept. 24 at CBGB in Manhattan.
