Mother/New York and Virgin Mobile have joined forces with a pair of ads aiming to bring families together with a "bleepin' awesome" holiday campaign. Directed by the Perlorian Brothers, whose past work includes Fanta, Domino's and Burger King, the new Virgin spots take place in a similarly surreal world. Here, nerdish relatives give the gift of Virgin phones to become "awesome!" One couple transforms into a sequin-laced dynamic duo of swine wrestlers, while a timid father grows a 'fro, dons some disco duds and cuts a mean rug – all because they gave their anxious teens a Virgin phone. Yes, apparently it's just that easy.
