WPP Forms Voluntary United Group of Creative Agencies

WPP is renaming its Red Cell network of agencies as the Voluntary United Group of Creative Agencies, and is buying London-based HHCL to serve as its British office under the abbreviated name United. Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe founders Jim Kelly, who left Y&R in 2004, and Robert Campbell, who quit his post as ECD at McCann Erickson/London in December, will lead the new agency. The change also affects U.S. shops Berlin Cameron and Cole & Weber, which will now be known as Berlin Cameron United and Cole & Weber United. Berlin Cameron chairman Andy Berlin will remain CEO of the network.
