John Lewis Launches Christmas Campaign with a Frosty Love Story

Published on .

U.K. agency Adam & Eve and Blink director Dougal Wilson reunite on another heartwarming Christmas tale for U.K. retailer John Lewis. Here, a pair of kids create what look like the perfect snow-couple, until the frosty hubby is seen leaving his home to take in the sights and experiences of the world out there.

But you'll find out what he's really up to when you see where he ends up on Christmas Day. The spot is set to a cover of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's track "The Power of Love," by YouTube star Gabrielle Aplin.

If you missed the agency and director's Xmas story from last year, "The Long Wait," it's definitely worth a revisit. Watch it on Creativity -Online.com, and follow @creativitymag on Twitter for more great work.

And if you're looking for more, this hilarious parody film also went up on YouTube just a few hours after John Lewis released its commercial, focusing on some of the other ways you can make someone happy this holiday season.
