Jon Hamm, Lena Dunham and Alex Karpovsky Introduce 'The New Yorker' iPhone App

Published on .

An all-star cast of Lena Dunham, Jon Hamm and director/actor Alex Karpovsky launch The New Yorker's new iPhone app in a somewhat nineties-style filmed web film. For the luddites among you, Dunham -- who also directed the film -- herself spoon feeds Hamm and Karpovsky an explanation of what an iPhone is, what an app is, and even what The New Yorker is.

The effort is the magazine's latest celebrity attempt to debut its digital goods. Check out Creativity-Online.com to see its 2010 iPad app launch, for which it tapped actor Jason Schwartzman and director Roman Coppola to create another hilarious film.
