Mother Launches Teaser Campaign for JC Penney's Big Overhaul

JC Penney is making some changes, including a new logo, and new pricing and strategies. Some cool television and digital work from Mother New York teases the campaign.

Playing off JC Penney's approach emphasizing simpler shopping, the TV spot shows everyday shoppers screaming "Nooo" when they encounter announcements for complex sales and confusing pricing structures.

An accompanying Facebook game asks visitors to take part in a highly complicated sale to get merchandise discounts. For example, clip 48 coupons using virtual scissors to get 48% off a handbag. There's also a "No-Meter" to scream into -- just like they do in the spot -- to measure your frustration.
