The agency found out that the faces of the esteemed gentlemen that appear on our currency appear younger and younger as newer bills are printed. A result of U.S. Federal Reserve performing some clever "plastic surgery," no doubt. It used this insight to craft a clever print campaign using $5, $20 and $100 bills.
