Purina and Jenny Craig Team Up to Put You and Your Dog on a Diet

Weight-loss campaigns are a no-brainer for January but Colle & McVoy presents one with a twist.

Nestle's Purina pet food brand has teamed up with slimmers association Jenny Craig for a campaign to encourage both you and your dog to slim down.

Humans and their canine partners enroll at the Project Pet Slim Down website, making a resolution to lose weight. Registrants get discounts through Purina and Jenny Craig, as well as exercise tips.

Canine obesity affects more than half of the pets in the U.S., the campaign notes.
