Toyota Launches the GT86 With a Dystopian Film Out of Saatchi London

A futuristic CG cityscape serves as the setting of this fantastic 90-second film out of Saatchi London, to launch the Toyota GT86.

The spot was directed by Stink's Adam Berg and stars a lone driver who looks like he could be the white collar version of a Grand Theft Auto character.

He drives through a steely metropolis, taking in the cold surroundings as he meditates on the absence of thrills in his pixelated universe. That is , until he encounters the Toyota GT86, which ultimately helps him to break out--Truman Show-style--into the world of the real.

Edith Piaf's romantic track "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien" adds an ironic, then appropriate, touch of romance to the scene.
