At just two years old, production company HeLo, founded by Managing Director Brendan Kiernan and Executive Producer Justin Moore-Lewy has made it a point to dive head first into the hairy types of productions not all are eager to touch. The company nabbed accolades for Bud Light's foray into experiential, the Super Bowl "Epic Night" campaign, directed by Jeff Tremaine, who then went on to team with Leo Burnett on Allstate's wild social media campaign campaign that saw the brand's devious Mayhem break into the house of a real couple and sell their stuff on the internet.
HeLo also teamed with Y&R New York and brought five of its directors to the ambitious 5x5 Film Land Rover campaignt. Each of the talents created a film using only five cameras placed inside the Land Rover LR4, a project that required the company to essentially turn the car itself into a camera. The films then went on to air at the Sundance Film Festival -- in the headrests of Land Rover shuttles roving around during the event.
Other standout projects include Beyond the Brick: A Lego Brickumentary and the Evil Knievel biopic from director Daniel Junge. Director Eric Kissack had the Cannes Lions Saatchi New Directors Showcase audience in stictches with his fantastic comedy short "The Gunfighter," a rollicking, ridiculously clever rethink of the traditional Western.
