Moxie lives up to its bold handle with its array of talents from the big screen and beyond. Christopher Guest dolled up dudes in "Little Black Dresses" for a Dockers' Super Bowl spot; Cameron Crowe lent his storytelling touches to '60s-style celebrity chase scenes in the Gap's "Denim Invasion"; while Kevin Clerks Smith directed a shrieking dwarf in a campaign for Panasonic's s e-wear camera (which earlier this year happened to spark a little-people riot against the manufacturer). MTV alumna Pam Thomas, who gracefully brings beauty and brawn into the fold, recently helmed party-people spots for MGD and Coors, as well as one for Gatorade featuring superstar athletes in a sultry, non-stop groove to a Doug E. Fresh track. Skechers gained a creative edge behind the lens of Andrew Christou, and on a more somber but equally fresh note, Bob Purman stunned us with his work for the ACLU, featuring a vignette from the life of a gay colonel.
