Notes: Salaries are actual. *Salaries subject to skew due to small base and preponderance of one gender. The chief technology officer position has 7.2 times more men than women and a base of only 90. Additionally, Male CEOs outnumber women CEOs 3.5-to-1; Male associate creative directors outnumber women 2.8-to-1 and women media directors outnumber men 2.7-to-1. Because of the gender spreads, particularly in the CTO position, gender splits by agency size and region may be compromised. Data universe is the 4,145 full-time employees in these posts at 228 agencies participating in the annual survey.
