Two-faced Cougar

By Tk Published on .

Dallas design shop Squires & Company and L.A.'s Dailey & Associates have collaborated on a winsomely schizoid fall print promotion for Weyerhaeuser's top-line Cougar paper. Themed "The Creativity of Business"-which is ordinarily an oxymoron but here designer Brandon Murphy calls it a "left brain-right brain solution"-a two-sided Z-fold structure offers varying but simultaneous approaches as to why Cougar is the choice for uncoated jobs. The "Creative" side highlights color, imagery and unlimited possibilities via 10 custom illustrations. The "Business" side details the wide range of weights and options via artful but no-nonsense photography and typography.

Designers: Brandon Murphy, Adam Hallmark, Bret Sano/Squires Writer: Wayne Geyer/Freelance Print Project Manager: Neil Prehmus/Dailey & Associates Illustrators: Ward Schumaker, Ryan Wallace, Greg Morgan, Jon Cannell, Carolyn Fisher, Sarajo Frieden, Chip Peters, Calvin Rambler, Kenton Nelson and Ellan Tanner Photographer: Peter Lacker
