Among the varied collateral that's part of Arnold Worldwide's multimedia "Drive It, You'll Get It" campaign for Volkswagen are "Adventures in Driving" trading-type cards-descriptive photo and headline on one side, car pic and performance/features copy on the other. It's all geared to "those typical scenarios that a driver may encounter on the road, and how a Volkswagen is engineered to handle that situation," according to the agency. They're cute. The cards, not the agency. OK, they remind us of Mini collateral, but that can only be a good thing. On "The Bunny" card, VW manages to reference an old model with, "You never know when a stray rabbit might dart out onto the road." Snappy opening line from the back of our fave card, "Slow moving old lady": "We'll probably all be like this someday." Hey, if we get to drive what appears to be a vintage pink Caddie, which could be straight off the Florida edition of Pimp My Ride, not a bad tradeoff.
