News Corp Explores Swap of MySpace Site for Yahoo Stake
The Times of London, a daily owned by News Corp., reports today on discussions with Yahoo and the newspaper's parent company to swap social-networking site MySpace for a 30% stake in the combined company. News Corp. Chairman-CEO Rupert Murdoch is actively pursuing an acquisition of Dow Jones, publishers of The Wall Street Journal, and is cited as believing financial news is the fastest-growing digital business.
