Unit Replaces DoubleClick

By Published on .

DETROIT (AdAge.com) -- Autobytel Inc., Irvine, Calif., formed a new media sales division to be headed by Brian Hafer, VP-advertising sales and business development, and Tom Hernandez, advertising director.

The new unit replaces DoubleClick, which only sold ads for the online car-buying service.

Mr. Hafer, who held a similar post at Autoweb.com, which was acquired by Autobytel last summer, said the new division will also focus on marketing Autobytel's upcoming new online products this year.
