NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Carlson Marketing Group, a major force in relationship marketing, said it plans to acquire beenz.com, which operates an online rewards-based loyalty program.

The acquisition includes hardware and software, the beenz brand, which has more than five million registered accounts, and all other intellectual property.

Carlson plans to integrate beenz.com into its Gold Points Rewards, a customer loyalty unit with both online and offline components. That program has more than 6 million members who can redeem points at 3500 locations.

Terms were not disclosed.
