NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- As consolidation activity swirled around the online ad and technology industry this week, Engage, a struggling CMGI division that competes in the category, launched a promotion intended to lure technology customers from both L90 and Real Media.

L90 sold its technology assets on Tuesday to DoubleClick, and DoubleClick and Real Media have been in negotiations this week for the former to buy at least some of Real Media's business.

So with much of the advertising technology industry expected to consolidate within DoubleClick, Engage said that it would offer customers of L90's adMonitor technology and Real Media's OpenAdStream technology discounts on license fees and support services to sign up with Engage's AdManager and AdBureau product.
