NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Will Carlin, formerly managing partner of MarchFirst, has been named to the new position of managing director of the New York office at WPP Group's OgilvyInteractive. In addition to operational duties, he will oversee project management and new business development

Meanwhile, Boston-based Digitas has named Rip Gerber senior vice president of relationship management and Mark Frankel senior vice president, executive creative director for the firm's Western region. Mr. Gerber was chief strategy officer and chief marketing officer of Commtouch. Mr. Frankel was chief creative officer of MarchFirst.
