NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Microsoft Corp. said that since last May's launch of the $50 million MSN switcher campaign and promotional offer, almost 80% of customers new to MSN Internet Access have switched from other Internet service providers, and nearly half have switched from AOL Time Warner's America Online.

MSN will extend its special Internet services offer due to the response, and will make its existing service available in a new version, MSN 7, this fall.
