POLL: Why Is Adblock Plus Suddenly Selling Ads?

Published on .

Adblock Plus on Tuesday announced that it's moving beyond offering software that lets consumers block ads to now actually sell ads itself.

It will of course only sell ads that meet its criteria for "acceptability," which require that ads "must be placed on top, side or below the Primary Content," for example, bar "excessive use of color" in text ads, set size limits and so on. (Users still have the option to block all ads, "acceptable" or no.)
