NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Unicast, New York, maker of the Superstitial Internet commercial, announced that the number of advertisers using the ad unit increased by 16% from the first to second quarter of this year.

The growth is attributed to its adoption by traditional advertisers domestically and internationally, which comprised 98% of all advertisers using the Superstitial during that period.

Overall, Unicast has seen an increase of 125% in the total number of advertisers compared to the same two quarters of 2000.

The company said it has also launched the ad format in Brazil, with advertisers including IBM, Nissan and Oracle.
