In the tiny town of Dalaro, Sweden, the Volvo dealership doesn't sell 32 cars in a year, so when the shop mysteriously sold 32 S40s in a single day, Volvo commissioned Venezuelan director Carlos Soto to film a documentary about the creepy phenomenon and cut some spots from it. But the story is lies, all lies, right down to Soto's accusations that Volvo set him up to film an untrue story. The real truth is that Soto doesn't exist; Spike Jonze filmed the doc, and the entire plot was hatched by Dutch agency Fuel. Baffling conspiracy theorists across Europe and the States, the prank resulted in 440,000 hits to the documentary's website and to Soto's.
