Dance, Design and Magazines

Published on .

For lovers of dance, design and printed matter, here's a New York City exhibit that covers both print design and the art of dance.

Through May 15, Everybody Dance Now: 20 Years of Dancing in Print at the AIGA National Design Center showcases Abbott Miller magazine designs and a lesson in New York dance history in an exhibition crafted by the Pentagram partner himself. The show is a retrospective of two dance magazines Miller has designed and art directed: Dance Ink and 2wice. The exhibition features archival publications, photographs and artifacts that chronicle New York performance culture and Miller's distinctive style.

The design center is located at 164 Fifth Avenue in New York City, Monday through Thursday, 11 am to 6 pm; Friday, 11 am to 5 pm.
