Oasis' New Album Gets a Subway Debut

By Published on .

We tagged along last week when BBH, New York and HSI directing duo the Malloys took to the NYC subways to film street performers debuting Oasis songs.

After time spent with sheet music and audio files of four new songs from the record, the 15 groups gathered in a Greenpoint loft studio with the band in the early afternoon, then fanned out across city to perform.

We joined one of the three units tasked with shooting the event for a documentary to run on NYC & Company. Here's what we saw. Watch more user- and street performer-submitted videos at Oasis' YouTube page. The band also has a group devoted solely to videos of the street performers covering the songs, here.
