Bates lands Hong Kong KFC

[hong kong] Local KFC franchisee Birdland has moved its advertising and media planning account from WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide to Cordiant Communications Group's Bates Worldwide. Bates started handling KFC's breakfast marketing earlier this year and did two projects last month for meal promotions. Reviews continue in the U.K. for KFC's $27 million account, previously with Ogilvy, and in Canada for all Yum Brands advertising for KFC, Burger King and Pizza Hut.
