Cadbury appoints Carat in Indonesia

[Jakarta, Indonesia] Cadbury has tasked Carat, Jakarta with handling media planning and buying for its chocolate and candy division in Indonesia, including its Cadbury Break, Cholclairs, and Trebor 24-7 brands. In Indonesia, Carat operates as a joint venture between Aegis Group and Chusen Media, the media division of Japan's Chuo Senko agency, in which Aegis owns a 49% stake. The appointment follows a pitch against Grey Global Group's MediaCom and ZenithOptimedia and Starcom, both part of Publicis Groupe. Previously, the business was handled by Interpublic Group of Cos.' Foote, Cone & Belding, Jakarta. Cadbury's creative for these brands is handled by Omnicom Group's DDB Advis, Jakarta.
