Carat wins $10 mil Osaio account

[seoul] Osaio Co., a cell phone sound service company, named Carat to handle its media planning and buying account, which will grow from $4 million this year to $10 million in 2003 as South Korea continues telecommunications deregulation. Osaio sells phone melodies, music letters and mobile phone content in South Korea and hopes to expand into China. The account moved without a pitch from PDS Media, Seoul, a joint venture between Dentsu's Phoenix Communications, Dentsu and Publicis Groupe's Starcom in South Korea.
