Europe parliament says no to drug ads

[brussels] The European Parliament, the legislative arm of the European Union, has refused to allow prescription-drug ads, but has removed some restrictive language from a proposal. It rejected language that would consider a form of advertising anything that gave people an "awareness of the availability" of a prescription drug. Classifying all communication from drug firms as advertising was also rejected.
