The shop plans to add Spanish-speaking creatives in addition to new hires Frenchmen Fred Raillard and Farid Mokartce, most recently of Bartle Bogle Hegarty, London. While other creative shops such as Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., and Publicis Groupe's Fallon Worldwide have opened overseas offices, Co-Chairman Jeff Goodby hopes that bringing international creatives to San Francisco will help his shop get international assignments from its major clients. Hewlett-Packard Corp. uses Goodby, Silverstein as its lead agency, but much of the account is handled by Publicis Groupe's Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco and other Publicis offices worldwide.
